There are two coveted window tables that look out onto the busy street for prime people-watching. But there’s not a bad seat in the house. You’ll see dates, friend groups, and solo diners all enjoying the whimsical vibes and delicious food.

Good For: The best pizza crust in the District. Playful pizza toppings. Try the Lupo Verde (named after their sister restaurant, which is also a favorite). Also, it’s open until 2 a.m. on weekends and is enticingly close to the U Street bars you may find yourself stumbling out of.
